We serve schools, nonprofits, non-profit, public, and private organizations:
- With a vision and desire to ensure all organizational policies, procedures, and programs are implemented efficiently and confirmed effective by the population they serve.
- Wanting to diversify staff, Boards, clients, or community partners.
- Who are mindful of including the voice of marginalized individuals, groups, and communities in decision-making
- Who appreciate reflecting on multiple perspectives
- Who has something they want to ask (rather than tell) their community
- Wanting to ensure that diverse community members inform their organization’s allocation of resources and service implementation.
Our Partners

As a non-profit executive director and board president I have found great value in Building Community services. The authentic support of creating relationships with the community and collecting feedback has been invaluable for grant writing and grant funded projects. Rene’s commitment to authentic relationship building, backed with her education and professional experience, has meant services we can trust.
Working with Building Community allowed us to fulfill a want and a need to receive honest feedback from community groups about our programs and outreach. Building Community has built trust and reliability with community populations we wanted to hear from to better serve diverse neighborhoods in Flagstaff. Rene RedDay was fantastic to work with; she provided timely deliverables, thoughtful communication, and research-based recommendations. Building Community was an important partner in our efforts to authentically build relationships so that we can provide science education opportunities to diverse children, youth, and families in our community.
Rene provides relationship-based support for all the families participating in the Elevate PreK program. Along with the day-to-day needs of classroom life, she successfully assists families in navigating and overcoming obstacles in the complex family and child service system. Rene’s work through Building Community, LLC has provided the essential services that allow Elevate PreK to fulfill its mission to support the entire family. In addition to all this important work, she is lovely to work with and is a terrific thought partner to Elevate PreK.
I have had the pleasure of working with Rene as a part of our exploratory scenario planning process for the Flagstaff Regional Plan 2045 update. As a long-range planning exercise, scenario planning necessitates both communicating complex concepts and facilitating discussions that build trust with the public for more meaningful engagement outcomes. Rene’s collaboration as an experienced facilitator and communicator has been an invaluable addition to this process.
In addition, Rene’s leadership and nuanced insights about the Flagstaff community have brought credibility to the process and among the community partners we have engaged. As a planning firm based outside of the Flagstaff region, we are appreciative of her partnership and strategic guidance throughout our engagement efforts.
